FluxBeam is published by Kozo Technology. This policy explains what the app does with your data. It is short because the app does very little with it.
FluxBeam does not have accounts, does not upload your projects, and does not send your photos, videos or camera images anywhere. Everything you create stays on your device. The one exception is advertising, which is handled by Google AdMob and described below.
Projects. Your mapped surfaces, their geometry, adjustments and settings are stored in the app's private storage on your device. They are not uploaded.
Media you choose. When you assign a photo or video to a surface, FluxBeam copies that file into its own private storage so the mapping still works after you restart your phone. That copy never leaves the device. Deleting the project, or uninstalling the app, deletes the copy.
Camera. FluxBeam uses the camera for four things: overlaying artwork on a live view so you can trace it, photographing a surface to use as a backdrop while mapping, converting an image to line art, and projecting the live camera feed onto a mapped surface. All of this runs on the device. Camera frames are processed in memory and are never uploaded, never sent to a server, and never shared with any third party — including the advertising SDK. Photographs you deliberately capture are saved to the app's private storage.
Settings. Your preferences, including the app language you choose, are stored locally on your device.
None of the above is readable by other apps, and none of it is transmitted.
FluxBeam is free and has no paid tier. It is funded by an occasional rewarded video advert, shown before Present mode. Adverts are served by Google AdMob.
To serve and measure adverts, Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, your IP address (used for approximate location), device and operating-system information, and how you interacted with the advert. This happens inside Google's SDK; FluxBeam does not receive, read or store any of it.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. On first launch the app asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform, a certified consent management platform, before the advertising SDK starts. Nothing ad-related runs until you answer. Personalised adverts are shown only if you consent; otherwise you may see limited, non-personalised adverts.
United States. If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.
Change your choice at any time in the app's Settings → Privacy options. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it reopens the consent form; in a US state with a privacy law it opens the opt-out form. The row appears only where one of them applies.
Your answer does not lock or unlock anything else in the app. Every feature is available whatever you choose.
Settings → Send feedback opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. It is filled in with the app version, the Android version and your phone model, and nothing else. Nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself, and we use it only to reply to you.
CAMERA — required for the trace, capture, line-art and live-camera features. The app asks for it only when you first open one of them, and works without it if you decline; only those features become unavailable.
Reading photos and videos uses Android's system photo picker, which hands the app only the single file you select and requires no broad storage permission.
FluxBeam is not directed at children and is not designed for or marketed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Because nothing is uploaded, there is no server-side copy of your data for us to hold, export or delete.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new version ships in an app update.
