Croatian Phrases – Kozo (“the App”) is developed by KozoTechnology. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.

  1. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). We do not ask for your name, email, location, or any account information.

  2. DATA STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE The App stores your phrase history, preferences, and notification settings locally on your device using Android shared storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

  3. ADVERTISING (Google AdMob) The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalised or contextual ads in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

    You can opt out of personalised advertising via your device settings under Google > Ads > “Opt out of Ads Personalisation.”

  4. PERMISSIONS
    • INTERNET: Required for loading advertisements.
    • RECORD_AUDIO / MICROPHONE: Used only for the in-app voice recording feature. Recordings are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded.
    • POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to send the Daily Phrase notification.
    • SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Used to schedule daily phrase notifications at your chosen time.
    • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used to restore scheduled notifications after device restart.
  5. THIRD-PARTY SDKS The App uses the following third-party SDKs:
    • Google AdMob (advertising)
    • Flutter TTS (text-to-speech, fully on-device)
    • flutter_local_notifications (local notifications only)
    • home_widget (Android home-screen widget)

  6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

  7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
