Privacy Policy for Home Inventory Manager

Home Inventory Manager ("the app") is developed by Kozo Technology
("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app
accesses and how it is used.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The app stores the inventory data you create (item names, descriptions,
photos, receipts, categories, and related notes) locally on your
device. We do not collect, transmit, or store this data on any remote
server, and we do not have access to it.

2. PERMISSIONS USED BY THE APP

- Camera: used to take photos of your items and to scan barcodes for
  product lookup. Photos are stored locally on your device.
- Photo/Media access: used to let you attach existing photos from your
  gallery to inventory items.
- Internet access: used only to look up product information when you
  scan a barcode (e.g. product name/description from a public barcode
  database). No personal or inventory data is sent as part of this
  lookup.
- Notifications: used to remind you about warranty expirations and
  scheduled reminders you set within the app.

3. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or inventory
information with third parties. Data you choose to export (e.g. PDF
reports) is generated on your device and shared only through the
sharing method you explicitly select (email, messaging apps, etc.).

4. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

All inventory data is stored locally in the app's private storage on
your device. Uninstalling the app removes this data. We recommend using
the app's export feature to back up important records before
uninstalling or switching devices.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The app may display ads served through Google AdMob, which may collect
data as described in Google's own privacy policy
(https://policies.google.com/privacy). We do not control this data
collection directly.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be
reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
